Accommodation

The accommodation consists of 10 cabins which are all individually built in UPVC with full size well insulated and heated sleeping apartments. All cabins have a spacious exercise run where the cats can play with the numerous toys or relax on the shelves, while watching the bird life in the garden.

The cabin interiorThe UPVC cabins provide a clean and hygienic environment for your cat’s stay. All cabins are fully disinfected between occupancies. Baskets and warm “Vet Bed” fleecy beddings are supplied but if owners wish to bring their own bedding to remind their cat of home they are of course encouraged to bring this with them.

Feeding

Because we believe that this is also your cat’s holiday, we only supply the best quality wet food and biscuits which are prepared in a separate hygienic cat kitchen. Special diets can be catered for, usually at no additional cost. Prescription diets can be maintained during your cat’s stay but we would request that you bring this food with you.

We offer DAILY treats (if allowed) with each meal, i.e. freshly cooked chicken, tuna or white fish.

Regular meal-times are adhered to. Adult cats are fed twice a day whereas kittens, seniors, or special cases are fed according to their requirements.

Health

Male cats over the age of 7-months which have not been neutered cannot be boarded with us, as they can present an infection hazard.

Only fully vaccinated cats (immunized against feline infectious enteritis, upper respiratory infections – cat flu – and ideally feline leukaemia) can be accepted for boarding and owners must produce a current vaccination certificate on arrival which will be retained by us during your cat’s stay. Flea and worming treatments should also be up-to-date.

No cat suffering from or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted. All cats will be examined on arrival, but the proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill-health pending advice from a Veterinary Surgeon.

Olly and Truffle exploring the cabin bedroomShould your cat require any special care or medication this should be discussed upon booking, but we will in most cases be happy to continue with any treatment prescribed during your cat’s stay provided full instructions are supplied in writing.

Veterinary attendance is assured during your cat’s stay should this prove necessary. Owners are responsible for any veterinary bills incurred by their cats whilst in residence – payment of which must be settled on collection.
